As director of photography on a three-day shoot at The Baldwin School in Bryn Mawr, PA, the goal was to capture the energy, strength, and spirit of Baldwin athletics. Short, high-intensity scenes were filmed across a variety of sports—from racket sports like tennis and squash, to field sports such as soccer, field hockey, and softball, as well as indoor athletics including basketball, swimming, weight training, and gym class. Additional shots highlighted Baldwin’s trophy displays and landmark athletic spaces, helping to visually connect the school’s proud athletic history with its modern programs.
Several featured athletes also lent their voices to the project, recording voiceovers that became the driving throughline of the final piece. Their words paired with powerful visuals created a sense of unity and purpose—showcasing what it means to be part of Baldwin athletics.
The finished video became a high-energy recruitment film designed to inspire Baldwin girls to get involved in sports. It also serves a dual purpose as an admissions tool, helping prospective students and families feel the school’s passion, drive, and balance between competition and community the moment the video begins.
